I've been obsessed with plants as long as I can remember, so it was only natural for me to pursue my bachelor's and doctoral degrees in botany and plant ecology. After 15 years in academia, I realized academic writing was much less fun than writing for general audiences. Now, I put my creativity and teaching experience to work breaking down complex science concepts and making them relatable to everyone.
